Getting Here & Getting Around the Island
There are only 2 ways to get to San Juan Island…by air or by sea. Which ever one you choose, the journey itself is half the fun. Leave your worries on the mainland and arrive to Friday Harbor relaxed and ready for a great get away!
A vehicle is highly recommended to explore the island, but there are several options for getting around the Island if you choose not to bring your car on the ferry or if you fly here.
We do have auto rentals on the island. It may not be Hertz or Enterprise, but they will be happy to accommodate you.
